Finally had a little down time so I decided to make this piece. I experimented with some gradient coloring. I mean I use it all the time at work so why not in my own pieces right?

Haven't drawn HH@ in a while, so I thought why not. Since I haven't drawn him in a while I decided to update his suit a bit. I defiantly plan on bringing him back. Below you can also see the evolution of him so far!

V.V. Experiments

I was doing some color experiments with V.V. and crew. The first one is them normal colored, which is probably better in my opinion. The second is the approach I was going for where the monster people would be blue and the humans would be orange.

Alice stuff!!!!

This is a ton of stuff I drew for Halloween at work! It was completely Alice in Wonderland themed. So I went dressed as the Mad Hatter and everything decorated was drawn by me. It was kinda stressful and I drew to the point where I thought I couldn't. I'm defiantly Aliced out!!!

Vamp re-animated Lagoon

Checked my old journal on DA with the choose your favorite top three top favorite monsters. This one is Vampire, creature from the black lagoon, and re-animated skeletons.

Paint-a-kin phase 2

Whew and painted! Didn't take long! Yeeeea right! So I totally finished up the pumpkin! It's ready to go up for auction. Hopefully it sells well, for the chillin's.

Paint-a-kin phase 1

This is the first time I've done a vinyl toy art shindig. So let me lay some story on ya! Basically, at work, we do this art auction for the kids every Halloween thing called Dream Halloween. Look it up I'm pretty sure you can donate if ya want! So yea I'm going to be giving away my baby to be sold to some person I don't know. Jus wasn't ready for the whole parenthood thing.

Any whoo, this is the pumpkin in it's blank and inked state!

I was in a mood to draw a girl that could give the feeling of Halloween. So I figured why not look back to the classics, like Frankenstein's bride!

A Headless Teaser

I decided to do a Halloween piece with a character I haven't drawn in a while, but he will be returning sometime soon, if all goes according to plan. You know how it goes, life and stuff. This is just a teaser for now. I'll post up the epic Halloween piece before Halloween!

Hey people! I started this shindigs on my DA where people add a sentence to the story and it keeps the story going, oh it's called an ad lib I believe. Any whoo the main character is named V.V. and he's a vegetarian vampire. If you'd like you can head over here: link and write your sentence!

Figured it might be a lil bit before I upload something new, we'll see. So I thought I'd post the new zombie ID. It's October and Halloween is coming up!

Dinosaurrrrrr! In action!

Wheeew! Holy crap this piece took a while! It's waaay late or early my time, but I just couldn't put this piece down till it was done. Alrighty, here's the story, after a full day of drawing girly fashions at work I had a random idea. I thought it'd be cool to draw a pirate riding a dinosaur. Then I thought it'd be funny if he was yelling DINOSAURRRR!!! Thus, yes thus, this piece was born.

I'm actually going to post my process. Every once and a while I like to texture paint my pieces. It pushes me.

First I draw in pencil. I usually do blue and define it more with mechanical pencil.

Second I clean it up with inks.Then I apply the flat colors. Remember don't do it on white bg, pick a neutral color for the bg. Don't want those super saturated colors. Well, unless you do.


After that I do my texture paints. Looks totally different right?
And finally I just added some minor bg elements like the speech bubble and some texture. That way your eye goes straight to the main characters of this piece. As you can see there's two finals. One is a blank bg and the other is all paper textured out.
Hope you guys enjoyed seeing this. If ya didn't give me a heads. Like, "Dude we just wanted to see the final!" And I'll be like, "Your mom!"

NNA concepts and a sneak peek

Just updating the good ol' blog. Let's see, well I did some character designs for NN@. If the the story takes place in a school of course there has to be tons of characters and other astronauts. Here's the list of the astronauts:

New Preloader, Strip, and Project

Let's see what's first on the list, I did this back to school preloader at work. I tend to focus more on the design than the animation since it's a preloader, sometimes it's not on your screen that long. You can check it out here: [link]

I also finished another strip of NNA. It's called NNA: Sweet tooth. You can see how NNA and lil Flo interact with one another.

I'm also working on an actual traditional piece for an Halloween auction shindig. I 'll post up the process and stuff while work on it.

One eye Franken Zombies!

Alrighty, so here's the details, I asked people their top 3 Halloween things are. It can be monsters, urban legends, heroes, villains, whatever. So the first one I did was the one eyed one horned flying purple people eater, Frankenstein, and zombies.

There's been a robbery!

It's funny how sometimes an idea for a piece comes out. I was talking about robbing a bank with new friend of mine and we ended up tag teaming a piece. I'm the guy of course, she's the girl , and the cops are just cops with sirens on their heads. Check out her awesome work here: link

NNA

Basically I'm hoping to make a comic series that will show how HH@ gets his code name. I plan on filling the story with crazy adventures and funny stuff kids would do. Along with other @stronauts. Of course, Flo and Nerva will be accompanying NN@ as well. Nerva is learning to be a mechanic and Flo is learning to be a computer technician.

I'm gonna be crazy busy from now on. I want to try and fit in some time for my own art, but we'll see. For now, here's some stuff I forgot to post.
